Udupi: District-Level 5 KM Marathon on August 31 to Raise Awareness on HIV/AIDS
Udupi district administration, Zilla Panchayat, District Health and Family Welfare Department, District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit, Youth Empowerment and Sports Department, Dr. G. Shankar Government First Grade College (NSS) Ajjarkad, Government First Grade College Tenkanidiyoor, and Udupi District Amateur Athletics Association are jointly organizing a 5 km district-level marathon on August 31 as part of National Sports Day celebrations.
The marathon, aimed at spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS, will begin at 7:00 AM in front of Mahatma Gandhi District Stadium, Ajjarkad. Udupi Deputy Commissioner Swaroop T.K. will flag off the event.
Only college students aged 17 to 25 years from the district are eligible to participate. Each college must send a minimum of 4 participants (2 male and 2 female). Registrations can be done online through the link: https://forms.gle/bWVFatdBsDnBkjCu7.
